A great new tracking resource

Rene has just published a new book on animal tracks, covering most European mammal species together with many commonly found bird tracks, amphibians and reptiles, plus invertebrates.
Over 700 pictures and 300 drawings showing you key features to look for.
Another new item is showing 6 variations of this particular track in different substrate, with again an explanation to point out what to look for.
There is also a comparison with similar looking tracks and an explanation what to look for to keep them apart.
A full chapter is about the four most used gaits, with links to a YouTube channel showing them in slow motion.

Review on ‘Het Prentenboek’

Dear René

I am back from the Kalahari….
Thank you for your book Het Prentenboek – this is an amazing book and a significant contribution to our growing knowledge of the art of tracking!
I can see that you have put a lot of work into producing this book, and it is a beautiful publication – it is really a joy to page through it and explore all the finer details that you have captured.
Congratulations on producing a great book.
best regards,
Louis Liebenberg

A set of fieldcards with drawings (Dutch / English captions) is also available. Most tracks of birds and mammals are real-life size.
